Tips to Improve the Curb Appeal of your Home

Potential buyers know that the exterior of a house is usually a good indicator of the inside of the house. It is important to make a good first impression!  As a seller you want to have excellent curb appeal so that buyers will want to see the rest of the house.  Here are some helpful tips:

 - Make your front door inviting. Most buyers will enter through the front door, so you want it to be inviting.  Fresh paint, plants & shiny handles are a few suggestions.

- Keep the lawn mowed and flower beds weeded.  Add bark mulch to freshen it up and look well cared for.

- Add color with hanging baskets, or flower pots. Seasonal flowers really liven up a house both inside and out.

- Keep your windows clean.  People always look out the windows during showings so keep the view nice from the interior and exterior.

- Make sure your homes exterior walls are clean. Spider webs, dirt & pollen can all be washed away with a gentle pressure wash.  If your home needs to be painted, consider doing that with neutral tones.

- Pressure wash the sidewalks, driveways and any cement around your yard.  It will make it look like new again.
